This is 2005 Safeboat 25' Defender class boat. KCLM was contracted to turn the boat into a multi-purpose fire/rescue platform for Fleming Fire and Rescue in Auburn N.Y. The modifications included Two Overhead outside storage lockers, One for a custom dive recovery ladder, hoses, and lines. The other for three medical backboards. The boat also received new 2015 Mercury Verado outboards. They were purchased and installed by Scotts Marine Service of Elberta AL. In addition newly upholstered seats, custom painted interior dash, and new non-skid was applied. One of the best features to the vessel was the addition of a 3" fire induction pickup tube installed directly between the two motors. This allows for quick attachment of the fire pump to service the water supply to the forward and stern water cannons.
